By creating an account, browsing, listing, or transacting on OnCampus Trade you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

• Open to Nigerian university, polytechnic, and college students.
• Sellers, service providers, and merchants serving campus communities.
• Users must provide accurate personal and contact information.
• We may ask you to verify your identity or school affiliation at any time.

• One account per user unless we approve additional accounts.
• Keep your login details secure — you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Do not impersonate other people, brands, or stores.
• Verification may be required to sell, open a store, or use boosted visibility.

• Textbooks and study materials.
• Phones, laptops, and gadgets.
• Fashion and accessories.
• Hostel essentials and dorm items.
• Food and snacks where lawful and safely prepared.
• Student services: tutoring, design, photography, repairs, laundry, delivery, and hair services.

• Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and controlled substances.
• Weapons, explosives, and dangerous items.
• Stolen goods.
• Counterfeit or fake goods.
• Prescription medications.
• Adult content or adult services.
• Exam answers, leaked questions, or any form of academic fraud.
• Fake certificates or impersonation services.
• Live animals.
• Harmful or illegal services.
• Anything that violates Nigerian law or your school's rules.

• Use real photos or videos of the actual product or service.
• Provide honest, accurate descriptions.
• State your correct location.
• Set the correct price clearly.
• Mark items as sold once they're no longer available.
• Do not spam or post duplicate listings.

• Users may create stores to list products or services.
• Store owners must keep their information accurate and up to date.
• Store media must represent real products and services.
• Stores may be reviewed, suspended, or removed for abuse or rule violations.
• Store verification helps build trust but does not guarantee transaction outcomes.

• Keep transaction-related communication inside the OnCampus Trade in-app chat.
• No abusive messages, spam, threats, or fraud attempts.
• We may review reported chats for safety and moderation purposes.
• Avoid sharing sensitive personal data unless absolutely necessary for the deal.

• OnCampus Trade connects users but is not always the direct seller.
• Buyers should inspect items carefully before paying.
• Sellers must deliver exactly what was described.
• Service providers must deliver the agreed services.
• Disputes are primarily between buyer and seller or provider unless OnCampus Trade offers support.
• OnCampus Trade may help mediate but does not guarantee outcomes.

• We may offer subscriptions, boosts, featured listings, verification fees, and spotlight placements.
• Fees may be non-refundable once the promotion has been delivered.
• Paid visibility does not guarantee sales.
• Payment providers may have their own additional terms and rules.
• Subscription benefits may change with reasonable notice.

• Reviews must be honest and reflect a real experience.
• Fake or paid reviews are not allowed.
• Review manipulation may lead to restrictions on your account.
• OnCampus Trade may remove reviews that are abusive, false, or violate our rules.

• No harassment, hate speech, or threats.
• No scams or deceptive practices.
• No false or misleading information.
• No spamming.
• No scraping, data harvesting, or reverse engineering of the platform.
• No illegal activity.

• You retain ownership of the content you post.
• You grant OnCampus Trade a license to display your listings, store, and profile content for marketplace and moderation purposes.
• We may remove content that violates these terms or our community standards.

• Warnings.
• Removal of specific content or listings.
• Reduced visibility on search and feeds.
• Temporary suspension of features or account access.
• Permanent ban for serious or repeated violations.

• OnCampus Trade provides the platform that connects users.
• We do not guarantee item quality, seller honesty, or transaction outcomes.
• Users trade at their own discretion.
• OnCampus Trade is not liable for losses arising from user-to-user transactions.
• Some features may rely on third-party services with their own terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnCampus Trade and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes shall be handled under Nigerian jurisdiction.

OnCampus Trade may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users in-app. Continued use of OnCampus Trade after updates means you accept the revised terms.
